Insurance Tips: Water Damage to Insured Property
2024-11-01

Water damage is the leading cause of property damage to property owners and tenants. Suppose a burst pipe, water leakage, or seepage is found in the property, or you receive a notification of such a situation. In that case, the insured should take appropriate measures immediately based on the actual circumstances (please refer to the following attachment for details). You can turn off the main water valve if necessary to prevent further water damage.

Third-party property losses caused by water damage can reach tens to hundreds of thousands of monetary losses, so reporting immediately after the accidents is crucial. Failure to report any incident to Regional Insurance or the concerned insurer promptly may affect the claim outcome. The insured must personally submit all claim details and required documents to us for further processing.

If you would like to submit a claim or have claims-related inquiries, please submit your claim form and supporting documents via Claims Services or contact our Business Representatives or Customer Service Team.
